Richmond Greenway Professional Review and Guide
"This urban rail trail provides a short recreational opportunity for local residents, a ribbon of open space in an otherwise heavily developed cityscape. The route sits on the old Santa Fe railroad grade, which runs parallel to Ohio and Chanslor Avenues through a relatively depressed industrial/ residential area of Richmond. Plans call for the rail trail to extend west to the San Francisco Bay Trail, and east to the Ohlone Greenway in El Cerrito. Surface: Asphalt."
