Port Costa Loop

Port Costa Loop Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The route of this ride leaves Port Costa along the aptly named Carquinez Scenic Drive, from where the strait with its busy cargo shipping can be viewed. In Martinez, you will pass by the John Muir National Historic Site, former home of the famed naturalist. Franklin Canyon Road climbs steadily past oaks, orchards and corrals to Cummings Skyway. After one last uphill section, Cummings Skyway takes you on a rapids descent into Crockett for the return along Carquinez Scenic Drive back to Port Costa."
