Cypress Grove Trail Professional Reviews and Guides
"This short, easy trail leads to overlooks of nearshore islands and rocky coves, where sea otters, harbor seals, and sea lions frolic amid multicolored kelp beds."
--Analise Elliot Heid, Hiking & Backpacking: Big Sur (Wilderness Press).
"The Cypress Grove Trail is a clifftop loop trail around Allan Memorial Grove. The trail passes through one of only two natural stands of Monterey cypress in the world. The hike loops around the cliffs overlooking Cypress Cove, Pinnacle Cove, South Point, Headland Cove and The Pinnacle, a narrow peninsula at the northernmost point in the reserve."
