Los Pinetos Trail Professional Review and Guide
"Two Placerita Canyon trails offer pleasant excursions into the park’s backcountry. Waterfall Trail ascends along Los Piñetos Canyon’s west wall, then drops into the canyon for an up-close look at a fall. Los Piñetos Trail explores the county park’s high country, entering Angeles National Forest and taking you to Los Piñetos Ridge. From the ridgetop, you can look northward over historic Placerita Canyon and Sand Canyon and southward over the San Fernando Valley sparkling below. Here on Los Piñetos Ridge, the 19th century meets the 21st century."
