Martinez Mountain Trail

Pinyon Pines, California

Martinez Mountain Trail Professional Review and Guide

"Martinez Mountain is a large, prominent desert mountain recognizable from the top of many peaks in Southern California. Its size, shape, and location make it easily identifiable. It sits at the far eastern terminus of the Peninsular Range of mountains that run from San Jacinto down to the Santa Rosas. While not the largest mountain in the region, it rests far enough away from the other peaks in the area to make it a worthwhile summit, not only for its difficult, remote, and isolated access, but also for its tremendous views."
