Traveling the entire trail is 3.5 miles with a total elevation gain of 1,434 feet. The Bear Gulch Day Use Area and Bear Gulch Day Use Area parkings are near the trailhead. There are also drinking water and restrooms. The Condor Gulch Overloook viewpoint can be seen along the trail. The trail ends near the Bear Gulch Junction viewpoint.
