"Finding the campground: From Pine Valley, drive east 18 miles on I-8, take the Boulevard exit, and drive 2 miles east of Boulevard on Old Highway 80. Turn left onto McCain Valley Road and drive 13 miles.

About the campground: The Pepperwood Trail starts at Cottonwood and accommodates hikers and equestrians. See Lark Canyon Campground (above) for more about the attractions in this area. Stay limit fourteen days. Open all year."
