Agate Beach Trail Professional Reviews and Guides
"This is a right beach break at Patrick’s Point State Park. Agate Beach is a large, pristine, and very beautiful beach. As with most beach breaks, it can produce a wide range of surfing conditions.
Depending on the swell, this spot can range from fun and friendly to a heavy, aggressive beach break. It faces northwest and as a result sees some serious winter swell. The break at Agate Beach is usually a well shaped and consistent wave that can produce quality barrels. On bigger days you’ll definitely want to beware of the heavy shore pound."

"Overlooked by many visitors heading to the renowned redwood groves in the nearby parks, lovely Patrick’s Point State Park offers some of the most picturesque coastal scenery on the north coast. Jutting into the Pacific, the park’s 200-foottall bluffs offer sublime ocean views peppered with scenic sea-stacks and offshore rocks, at least when the persistent fog takes a day off."
