Enid Pearson Arastradero Preserve Trails Professional Review and Guide
"For a glimpse of the rolling grasslands and magnificent oaks of foothill ranch- lands, visit this city of Palo Alto preserve. In the spring of 2004 Enid Pearson’s name was added to this preserve in appreciation of her efforts to buy the land for Palo Alto. Most of its 609 acres are located on the south side of Arastradero Road between Alpine and Page Mill roads, but 176 acres lie on the north side of Arastradero Road. The preserve is open daily to the general public. It adjoins two large open-space areas —Palo Alto’s Foothills Park on the south and Stanford lands west of I-280 on the north, although neither is accessible from the preserve. This trail guide includes the following trails: Hike Along Arastradero Creek to the Lake and up the Canyon to its Headwaters, Sample-All-the-Trails Loop, The Redtail Loop Trail,"
