The Garstin Trail is a short but steep trail that climbs from Palm Canyon Wash up to a stunning plateau beneath Murray Hill. It offers a vigorous workout and great views of the San Jacinto Mountains. It can be done as an out-and-back hike, or a slightly longer loop. Or you can link to any of the numerous trails on the plateau for an endless variety of longer rambles.
