This loop hike takes you over a small summit at the northwest end of the Santa Rosa Mountains. It features a fine walk along a ridge with views of the Santa Rosa Mountains and of Palm Springs, and returns along the base of the mountains above Palm Canyon Wash.

Great way to get out of the city fast and see some incredible views of Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. Few fellow hikers were seen, but little shade and water is a must. Can be done easily in about 2 hours.
