Pacifica Beaches - San Mateo Beaches and Coastal Trail Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Curving beaches between rocky points adjacent to Highway 1 beckon visitors to sandy coves and rolling surf. The northernmost beach is Pacific Manor Beach, where a COASTAL ACCESS sign on Palmetto Avenue directs visitors to a path around two apartment complexes leading to stairs down to the strand. Muni buses serve this area. Farther south are Sharp Park Beach, Mori Point, Rockaway Beach, and the Pacifica State Beaches. The State of California and the city of Pacifica cooperated to connect these beaches by walks and trails to form the continuous 7-mile waterfront experience for coastal enthusiasts described here. The Coastal Trail follows the shore south from Paloma Avenue to the proposed connection over the Pedro Point Headlands to the Devils Slide Highway right-of-way. This trail guide includes the following trails: Sandy Sojourns in Pacifica, Mori Point, Rockaway Beach, Pacifica State Beach."
