Shingle Falls

Shingle Falls Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"A pleasant loop through rolling woodlands in the foothills east of Marysville ends at a waterfall and swimming hole on Dry Creek.

I’ve gone with calling this Shingle Falls, deferring to the US Geological Survey, but the waterfall is identified as Fairy Falls on trail signs and as Beale Falls or Dry Creek Falls in some printed and online guides. Being “also known as” may create some confusion, but no matter the name, the falls are a stunning destination, a stair-step spill into a punchbowl that runs year-round, though fullest in spring when swollen with
snowmelt or after rainstorms."
