    Dillon Creek

    Dillon Creek Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Situated on the Klamath River at the site of a spring cascading down Dillon Creek, this campground occupies a scenic setting. The campsites, carved into the mountain slopes, are sheltered and shaded and offer privacy. A path leads to one of the most-scenic natural swimming holes in Northern California.

River access is adjacent to the camp, across the highway, with good seasonal fishing for trout, steelhead, and occasional salmon. Excellent rafting and kayaking opportunities exist from the campground south to several takeouts before Somes Bar. The trailhead for Dillon Creek Trail is across the bridge and will take you on a small footpath 100 feet above the creek (not recommended for children). Stay limit 14 days. Open May through October."
