Ride out the Irvine Haul Road and then attack the intervals on Loma Ridge—steep, steeper, and steepest. The hard work is finished after 4 miles, so drop down to Bolero Springs and then follow Limestone Canyon to The Sinks. A quick climb up Cactus Canyon takes you to Limestone Ridge. Ride the length of the ridge, eventually dropping back down to Limestone Canyon. A short jaunt on a fire road completes the loop.
