    "The campground is in a eucalyptus grove on a hilltop. Fishing and boating are available at Lake Chabot, about 0.5 mile away, and a trail leads to the lake from the campground. Private boats are not permitted on the lake, but boat rentals are available. Fishing from shore is allowed.

    The lake is stocked annually with trout and catfish and is also a source of largemouth bass, bluegill, and crappie. A paved path circles most of the lake. Elevation 660 feet. Stay limit 15 days. Open all year."
