Jones Bar Loop Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Although known today mainly as a swimming hole, Jones Bar was once the largest mining camp on a 25-mile stretch of the South Yuba River. The highlight of this day hike is the section known as the Independence Trail West, which follows a reconstructed mining flume along the upper canyon wall."
