Navarro Bluff Road Closed Professional Review and Guide
"The beach at the mouth of the Navarro River offers easy access to either a calm-water paddle upriver or an optional launch site for coastal kayakers looking to explore beyond the area’s more popular destinations. Upriver a shallow estuary with lots of birdlife—osprey, herons, shorebirds, and waterfowl—heads into a narrow river valley overarched with redwoods. On the sea, those with surf skills can launch off the fairly exposed ocean beach and head 4 miles north along the cliffs to Albion or run a shuttle and head 5 miles downwind to Elk."
