Fern Creek Trail

Fern Creek Trail is a hiking trail in Marin County, California. It is within Mount Tamalpais Watershed, Mount Tamalpais State Park, and Muir Woods National Monument. It is 2.3 miles long and begins at 138 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is a mile with a total elevation gain of 80 feet. Water Fountain and another drinking water and the East Peak Parking Lot parking are near the trailhead. There is also a bicycle parking. The Cathedral Grove (elevation 200 feet) wood, the Visitor Center information office, and the Pinchot Tree attraction can be seen along the trail. There are also restroom, a restaurant, a ranger station, drinking water, a bench, and a telephone along the trail. The trail ends near the Bohemian Grove (elevation 194 feet) wood. There are also drinking water and an information map near the end of the trail. This trail connects with the following: Railroad Grade Fire Road, Dipsea Trail, Tavern Pump Trail, Lost Trail, Ben Johnson Trail, Hillside Trail and Camp Eastwood Trail.
