It was reported that a person was killed at this waterfall. Not sure of the specifics, but reading this review suggests its okay to jump at this waterfall. This is never recommended from the experts. Enjoy the waterfall and I will visit it with our family dog. Please beware and be safe.

This is a beautiful, well-maintained, trail. It's an easy hike that takes a few hours, crosses a few streams, and passes waterfalls along the way. Dense surroundings that feel completely detached from LA... until around 10 am when the masses arrive. We arrived around 7 am (just in time to hit good parking). Not many hikers on the trail on the way in. The trail was packed with loud, obnoxious, hikers by the time we hiked out. Granted, it was a holiday weekend, but it felt like Disneyland... Go early if you decide to go. Definitely worth a stiff cup of coffee and the extra effort.

This is really worth trying, Its a relatively moderate trail with a few obstacles on the way. At the mid point of the trail, the canopy of trees makes you forget you are actually 25 minutes from LA. I would recommend bringing quick drying fabrics or water proof shoes because at the end of this trail theres a waterfall and rocks you can jump from and swim.
