Pine Mountain Trail, the newest designated trail in the Laguna Mountains, invites your attention, especially during the merry month of May (well, maybe April and early June, as well) to take advantage of the peak in the blossoming cycle of several chaparral species, especially ceanothus, alias “wild lilac.”

Generic trail. It is nice that it traces a water source for some time, bring purifier if you plan to hit this trail as it is too close to drainage.
