Cedar Glen Trail Camp is perched on a bench overlooking Icehouse Canyon. This beautiful trip up to the glen follows the shady Icehouse Canyon Trail to the Chapman Trail, and then climbs the wall of the canyon, alongside Cedar Creek, passing chaparral and wildflowers. Cedar Glen has one of the most diverse conifer groves in Southern California, with most of the local species growing together. This trip can be done as a short out-and-back jaunt, or better yet, as a loop continuing on to rejoin Icehouse Canyon and returning via the canyon floor.
