Volvon Trail Professional Reviews and Guides

"The distance between the developed areas of the East Bay and the Morgan Territory can be measured in more than miles. It can also be captured in peace and quiet, which is commonplace on these secluded trails. Draped across the hilly backside of the Diablo range, the hills and hollows of Morgan Territory Regional Preserve are a rare prize, a quiet tucked-away treasure of expansive vistas and wildflower fields. The park harbors a perfect confluence of seclusion and great scenery, but arguably its most significant feature is the solitude. Morgan Territory lies outside the busy interstate corridors that define the East Bay, rendering trail traffic light and expanding options for hikers seeking a quiet, contemplative trek."
