Miracle Mile Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Free parking is available on the north side of Sixth Street. Metered parking is available on the south side.
The Miracle Mile district is a prized area in Los Angeles, in large part due to its proximity to just about anyplace you might want to go. This neighborhood is home to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), the historic Farmers Market, and—unlikely as it may seem in the middle of this bustling city—one of the world’s most famous fossil sites.
The La Brea Tar Pits, located adjacent to LACMA, is said to have the largest and most diverse collection of animal and plant fossils from the last ice age, tens of thousands of years ago."
