Paradise Meadows

Paradise Meadows Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Paradise Meadow is one of the supreme wildflower gardens in the park. Despite this distinction, the trail is lightly used; instead, the majority of hikers who leave the Terrace Lake Trailhead are bound for the trio of lakes to the south.

The trail drops moderately from the trailhead almost all the way to the meadow, so reserve some energy for the climb back, although the less than 2-mile distance should be manageable by hikers in good condition. While Paradise Meadows offers an abundance of wildflowers, the number of mosquitoes in midsummer is equally as impressive—don’t forget the repellent."
