Kings Creek Falls Professional Review and Guide

"The hike: Invigorating. That’s the first—and most apt—word that comes to mind when I think of the trail to Kings Creek Falls. And, truthfully, though the falls are spectacular, the cascades above the falls are what really got my blood moving. A froth of wild whitewater careens down a chute within arm’s reach of the trail, all-encompassing in its noise and beauty. Bring a camera for this one. It’s spectacular! Highlights: The spectacular cataracts and falls of Kings Creek enliven this stretch of trail."

Do the horse trail going in and the "steps" trail going out. It's a bit strenuous humping up the short, steep fetch of the "steps" but it's MUCH better to do it going up than clambering down. Going up you can pay much more attention to --and enjoy -- the dramatic cascades on your left. If you were going down you'd be concentrating mostly on where to put your feet.
