Corral Meadow

Corral Meadow Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Corral Meadow may not be one of Lassen Volcanic’s famous flower-filled, open meadows, but this meadow— actually more of a forested flat today— offers pleasant walking and camping along a serene stretch of Kings Creek.

Corral Meadow, or at least the immediate vicinity, is known today by Pacific Crest Trail backpackers as a place to find a decent campsite. The trail from Summit Lake to the meadow, which drops 650 feet in the 2.5 miles, is all uphill on the return leg."
