Russian Gulch Trail Professional Review and Guide
"The trail leads up through a lush coastal canyon filled with ferns, maples, berries, and second-growth redwood trees to a 36-foot waterfall. On the coast, hikers can view the Punchbowl, a collapsed wave tunnel with a diameter of 100 feet. The Punchbowl resembles a large crater churning at its base with waves injected through a tunnel from the nearby shoreline. Terrain: Pavement, gravel, and dirt path through second-growth redwood forest and riparian streamside habitat."
