Indian Creek Recreation Area Trails Professional Review and Guide

"The Indian Creek Recreation Area comprises 7,000 acres of land near the eastern base of the Sierra and is managed by the Bureau of Land Management. The focal point of the area is
Indian Creek Reservoir, a favorite destination for campers and anglers. At one time, the Curtz Lake Interpretive Trail must have provided a fine opportunity to learn about the natural history of the area around the lake.

Unfortunately, the condition of the trail and the interpretive signs has deteriorated significantly over the years and is now in need of considerable repair. Despite this setback, the short nature trail still provides an easy stroll through varied terrain, along with a few interesting tidbits about the biology and geology of the area."
