Coastal Trail is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in Marin County, California. It is within Mount Tamalpais Watershed, Muir Beach (GGNRA), Mount Tamalpais State Park, and Marin Headlands (GGNRA). It is 15.1 miles long and begins at 13 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 5.8 miles with a total elevation gain of 1,881 feet. The Pelican Inn restaurant is near the trailhead. There are also a hitching post, a waste basket, picnic sites, drinking water, a shower, and parking. The It's Huge, It's Heavy, It's Historic information board and the McKinnan Gulch Mine (elevation 1,591 feet) quarry can be seen along the trail. There is also a wood along the trail. The trail ends near the Water Fountain drinking water and Cardiac Hill (elevation 1,355 feet).
