Solstice Canyon / Latigo Canyon / Backbone Trail Professional Review and Guide

"The Solstice Canyon/ Latigo Canyon/ Backbone Trail, on National Park Service property, was opened up largely by the efforts of CORBA. It is virtually all singletrack-very technical, with steep pitches, rocky outcroppings, deeply rutted sections, and several stream crossings. For the beginning rider it is not recommended; for the intermediate rider, it is a challenge; for the advanced rider, it is pure fun."

Just like the description says-if you are a beginner you will hate life. If you are a bit more advanced you will love this trail. Dont take that long travel heavy bike cause your gonna do some climbing. You will need a bike with about 5" of travel for this one. Once past the larger part of the climb you can scream down through the canyon over roots and rocks and stream crossings. Very fast and technical. Reminds me of a super d course. One of my favorite trails.
