Haul Road Multiuse Path Professional Review and Guide

"The hike to photogenic Pudding Creek Trestle is much more inspiring than the historic name implies. Oceanfront Haul Road was once a rail transportation artery for hauling logs to the Union Lumber Company mill in Fort Bragg before being converted to a multiuse trail.

The trail parallels rural land with some residential and commercial development on the east side. But looking west, the coastal trail’s views of tame headlands, tidepools, and snowy plover nesting beaches make this a signi?cant stretch of California Coastal Trail."
