"The Soda Springs Trail begins along Soda Springs Creek in the lush riparian vegetation of ferns, alders, and California bay laurel along the border of the Silver Peak Wilderness. The trail climbs the forested slope to an overlook with coastal views that extend south to the Point Piedras Blancas lighthouse and Point Buchon, beyond Morro Bay. The path descends to the Salmon Creek drainage, where there are magnificent views of Salmon Creek Falls (Hike 96)."
