Fuel Break Road Professional Reviews and Guides

"A wide fuel break has been cut along the south side of Nordhoff Peak between Gridley Canyon and Stewart Canyon. For fire fighting and maintenance purposes, a fire road was built along this fuel break. Being so close to town, it makes a nice training ride although the road surface is often loose from being graded. There are excellent views of the Ojai Valley and no long hills to climb, but the trail down to Stewart Dam is rocky and somewhat technical."
