The Ridge Trail crosses the shoulder of the mountain to Hazard Peak, a 1076-foot grassy summit. The trail follows the ridge east while overlooking Islay Creek, Spooner Cove, the bluffs and the dunes. The hike ends at an overlook just beyond Hazard Peak. From the overlook are views into Hazard Canyon and across the sand spit to Morro Rock and the bay.
