Trans Catalina Trail

Trans Catalina Trail is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in Los Angeles County, California. It is 8.0 miles long and begins at 1,451 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 6.8 miles with a total elevation gain of 2,622 feet. The Cape Canyon Reservoir (elevation 1,073 feet) and Buffalo Springs Reservoirs (elevation 1,398 feet) reservoirs can be seen along the trail. There are also trees, a bench, a bbq, and drinking water along the trail. The trail ends near the Black Jack Campground camp site. There are also a water point and a shower near the end of the trail. This trail connects with the following: Renton Pass Road and Cottonwood Trail.
