These 710 acres are part of the Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve. The Pasture Area lies immediately west of the original Rancho San Antonio preserve and extends south to the heights of Black Mountain. With the 1993 purchase of the acreage immediately east of the Windmill Pasture Area, there is now trail access to the main Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve and Rancho San Antonio County Park. This trail guide includes the following trails: A Short Hike to a Secluded Meadow, Trek to Black Mountain, Chamise Trail to Rogue Valley.
