Crescent and Log Meadows Loop Professional Review and Guide
"Although the Crescent Meadow Trail is one of the busiest paths in the Giant Forest, two flower-filled meadows and numerous notable giant sequoias make this loop worth the crowds. Early to midsummer is the best season to view the verdant sedges and grasses of the meadows, highlighted by a colorful palette of wildflowers. However, the majesty of the sequoias is always in season. Add in a visit to Tharps Log—the oldest structure in the park—and you have the quintessential Giant Forest experience."
