Mill Creek Falls And Blue Lake Campgrounds

Mill Creek Falls And Blue Lake Campgrounds Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"These two campgrounds are out in the middle of nowhere—the South Warner Wilderness is tucked away in California’s northeastern corner. It takes forever to get here, but the drive is stunningly beautiful and well worth the effort. Nowhere in the West do you find an area so pristine and so untrammeled. South Warner is big-sky country.

As fraternal twins often are, Mill Creek Falls and Blue Lake Campgrounds are like day and night. Blue Lake Campground is big and bustling, with a boat launch and plenty of anglers. However, the well-designed campground—like a tiered wedding cake on a high point going out into Blue Lake—gives the campsites a private, secluded feeling."
