Post Peak Loop Trail

Post Peak Loop Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"With the soft green forest and the rugged High Sierra; from lakes, creeks, and meadows to sweeping visits; from main trails to spur trails to boot-beaten paths—this is an ideal area for an extended backpack trip. Although the recommended hike is a semi-loop, a complete loop around Post Peak is possible. The full loop is 31.2 miles long and involves several miles of walking on forest roads. Most hikers prefer to do a car shuttle between trailheads and spend their extra time exploring the high country."
