Lake Jennings

Lake Jennings Professional Review and Guide

"Lake Jennings is an attractive mountain-ringed reservoir with a 100-acre campground at its northwest corner, and a boat pier, launch ramp, and concession to the south. Popular with fishermen, the lake is operated by the Helix Water District; a day permit and state license are required if you want to try your luck with trout, bass, and catfish. Rowboats and electric motorboats can be rented at the pier, or you can launch your own for a small fee. At present, there are no picnic facilities, but some are planned for the future."

It is ok, lots of families hanging out. You can see ducks in the lake. Cars drive near by and it isn't much of an escape.
