Seaview Trail from Badlands Park

Seaview Trail from Badlands Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Badlands Park borders the southeast corner of Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park. The park is perched on the oceanfront cliffs near the mouth of Aliso Canyon, 780 feet above South Laguna and the Pacific coastline. It sits amid eroding sandstone cliffs with exposed slopes covered with coastal scrub and sage.

The area is on the site of an ancient beach dating back 10 million years. From the park and adjoining cliff-hugging trails are views of Dana Point, Salt Creek Beach, South Laguna, Catalina Island, San Clemente Island, Aliso Peak, and the San Joaquin Hills."
