Vuelta Las Trampas Professional Review and Guide
"Riders looking for a long outing in the saddle should try this one. With two out-and-back extensions along canyon roads, Vuelta Las Trampas is a 62.1mile clockwise circuit around the rugged and mostly undeveloped Las Trampas Ridge in the East Bay.
While the Las Trampas Rumble penetrates the wilderness on the east side of the ridge, the Vuelta circumnavigates the ridge on roads, taking the rider from Lafayette and through Alamo, Danville, San Ramon, Castro Valley, Oakland, and Moraga, along with plenty of unincorporated territory in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Without the Bollinger and Cull Canyon extensions, the Vuelta is a 41.8-mile loop."
