The “Visitor Center Loop” described here is a double-loop route linking together both the Visitor Center Loop trail, west of the visitor center, and the Oak Grove Loop trail, east of the visitor center. Before you go anywhere (or else at a later time), you should explore the visitor center itself, which features a unique auditory experience as you approach the front door. Inside there are video displays, archaeological exhibits, a library, and bay-window views of Mission Gorge and neighboring peaks.
