Albanita Meadows Professional Review and Guide
"Several peaceful subalpine meadows dot the conifer-clad landscape of the South Sierra Wilderness. These grasslands are seldom visited, and the trails to them are often faint or nonexistent, but the going is easy and the camping is pleasant. Elevation gain in this area is negligible, making a hike in this part of the South Sierra Wilderness an ideal choice for novice hikers or parents with children. Because this is bear country, backpackers must make an effort to keep a clean camp and store food properly."
