I used to own property along this trail and would walk it regularly. It's pretty flat, there are a lot of rattlesnakes, including the deadly Mojave Green. You have to watch out pretty carefully as sidewinders blend into the dirt on the path. There are also coyotes but they tend to leave you alone. If you take your dogs, it's best if they've had 'snake breaking' training so they learn to stay away from the rattlers. You don't have to walk the full 7.3, you can walk around and come back to where you started. Take water with you and a shade hat. Don't walk in the summer unless it's early morning. It's windy a lot here. Other than the snakes, wind, and heat it can be a beautiful, peaceful walk.I used to walk here every day.
