Keystone is one of the premier canyons in the wild and rugged New York Mountains. Here you will find some of the most fascinating flora in the Mojave Desert— from chaparral brush fields to piñon-juniper and turbinella oak to lonely pockets of white fir clinging to windswept ridges.The New York Mountains host an amazing array of plants—some 300 species have been identified."
