Piute Trail Professional Reviews and Guides
"Just north of Glacier Divide, which forms the northern boundary of Kings Canyon National Park, resides a large lake-dotted basin that rivals any in the High Sierra for sweeping alpine beauty. Although much effort is required for the 4.6-mile climb from North Lake (9,255 feet) to Piute Pass (11,423 feet), the stupendous scenery abounding in Humphreys Basin is more than an adequate reward."
