North Jenner Bluffs Professional Review and Guide
"The North Jenner Bluffs sit along a three-mile stretch of coastline between the Russian River at Jenner and Russian Gulch to the north. The access road, which is now Highway 1, was originally built in the 1870s. It is perched on the rolling contours of the angular cliffs high above the sea. This area is along one of the finest coastal stretches in California. The 200-foot oceanfront bluffs stretch across a rolling marine terrace to rocky headlands and a series of beach coves. The trail includes an overlook of the crenulated coast and the Russian River as it flows into the Pacific. The offshore rock islands are isolated remnants of the former coastline."
