Kearsarge and Bullfrog Lakes Professional Review and Guide
"Kearsarge Pass provides one of the least difficult eastern gateways across the Sierra Crest. Consequently, the trail is heavily used. The climb to the pass still requires an elevation gain of more than 2,500 feet in 5 miles at high altitude, but the ascent is short by eastern Sierra standards and rarely climbs at more than a moderate grade."
